The hardest decision you’ll have to make at the Spa without Walls is where to enjoy your treatment. Spa with walls (interior) or without, which means you can either be in an oceanfront cabana or in a hale next to a waterfall, I opted for the waterfall. Next choice; treatment, the massages range from lomilomi, shiatsu, hot stone, Swedish or deep tissue, or opt for one of the island inspired facials. I signed up for 110 minutes of pure bliss a.k.a., The Ali'i Experience, which costs $339 for indoor, $349 for the waterfall or $359 for oceanfront. After decompressing in the coed relaxation room sipping tea and listening to the wind through the trees, I entered stage one of relaxation. Floyd, my therapist appeared and whisked me to my own private hale right next to a gentle waterfall; stage two. The rest was a blur, after a lomilomi massage, I stopped counting my 'relaxation stages' as the treatment continued with a scalp and foot massage using island-based oils. Ali’i, means royalty in Hawaiian, and that is how I felt as I melted into the teak lounge post experience. Amenities: Fully stocked "mens and womens" locker rooms with steam and sauna.
